Transatlantic support for artists
Mélanie Desliens Flint is a founding member of the Board of Directors of Villa Albertine San Francisco and also sits on the boards of the Villa Albertine foundations in New York, San Francisco and Paris. She has also served as President of the French-American Cultural Society (FACS).
Mélanie brings strategic leadership to the Villa Albertine, a newly established cultural institution and think tank. This innovative program from the French Embassy, launched in 2021, reinvents the original concept of French Villas in the United States.
Its mission is to facilitate forward-looking, interdisciplinary dialogues between artists and diverse communities, particularly in the technological, scientific and academic fields. Villa San Francisco was born of the conviction that culture and artists must play a central role in our ever-changing world.
